It is a private limited company primarily engaged in the import, storage and distribution of European oak in all of its forms and measures. The company specializes in European oak trade proceeding from its sawmill in Poland. Hijos de Segismundo Andrés S.A. started its activity in 1955 as a pine and beechwood sawmill in Quintanar de la Sierra, a Burgos province village. It has a registered office located in Quintanar de la Sierra, Burgos, Spain. The company offers hardwood (European oak (planks, boards, joists, staircase steps, panels, lamparquet, frieze), Cherry wood, Beech, and Maple) and floating floorboards in beechwood, jatoba, cherry wood, and birch. Due to the great efforts made in investments in technology and human resources, it has achieved a leading position in the national and international competitive market. Also, its continual advances have allowed the company to be present in markets, such as France, Portugal, China, Malaysia, Italy and Germany. In its Burgos (Spain) facilities, with a surface area measuring more than 25,000 square meters, the company has a constant stock of all its products with which to supply its customers. Its drying sheds, with a 1000 cubic meter capacity, guarantee the final quality of the product.
